There are times in the spring where your senses get mixed up and you can taste the air and smell the sunshine. It is when distant things still feel very far but you are somehow large enough to touch them if you wanted to. It is when you find your self grateful for every glisten of sunlight, bit of green, or cool shadow because there is something about the going-without-them during winter that makes them feel extra precious.
