Artist's Statement about this work: As I was wandering on a quaint street of a village in The Netherlands, I saw this wonderful vintage Volvo. I loved the way the car and chrome reflected life as it occurred in the village. I couldn't resist sitting in the street to get the right shot with my camera. I interpreted the resulting photo into a watercolor painting, using the vibrant colors of the village. I hope viewers enjoy the result.

Artist's Statement about this work: My niece married at the Blueberry Inn in Goshen, VT. The flowers came from the Inn gardens and matched the color of the Inn. The bouquets were placed in tin containers. I wanted to capture the flowers and the dreaminess of the day.

Artist's Statement about this work: When I visited Southern Thailand several years ago, I visited an Elephant Sanctuary. I had the opportunity to feed and bathe this female. And I got to give her a hug! Wrapped my arms around her trunk, rested my chest against her trunk and felt her purr. It was a lovely experience.

Artist's Statement about this work: Occasionally, individuals encounter a landscape that awakens and stirs something within them. As I breathed in the crisp, Idaho air that day, I committed this landscape to my memory: the parallel of the river and road, the sloping of the mountains -- somehow harmoniously perfected in form. The various curves throughout the scene were effortless yet intentional, quietly asking to be noticed. Unconcerned and untouched by time, the landscape continues to do what it does best: purely existing.
