Dimensions: 9 x 12 x 1.5
Artist's Statement about this work: Why do artists like to paint fruit? Before this painting, I tried to paint a box of donuts, but the donuts all kept disappearing before I could finish the painting. Fruit is safer. No one comes along and steals your fruit.

Jonathan Lisonbee

Email: Jon_Minister@Yahoo.com

Dimensions: 19 x 29 x 1.5
Artist's Statement about this work: This barn is located at the East end of my home town of Scipio, Utah. Growing up there, it was a common scene in the late spring to see farmers out loading large rolls of hay like these onto the back of their hay wagons pulled by their pickup trucks to be stored in the barn for the rest of the season to feed the cattle in the winter. I started sketches of this barn last spring and finished a week ago during shelter in place.

Storm at the Homestead
Rachelle Levingston

Email: rlwatercolors@gmail.com

Dimensions: 11 x 15
Artist's Statement about this work: Last fall, an old copy of Philip Jamison's book, Making Your Paintings Work, found me in a used bookstore. Since then, I have painted over 30 of his pieces; he is a master of design. I was at the point that I felt like I had learned a lot from copying his pieces, but I needed to take what I had learned and apply it. I tried a few paintings but wasn't pleased with the results. One day I decided to take a house I had previously painted and add distant fields, like his, to the background. I liked the results. I let this painting sit for a few weeks and decided to make the sky more stormy and add a lake. This painting is a step forward for me and I am glad I was able to incorporate what I had learned from Philip Jamison's book.

Museo d' Orsay
Bruce Robertson

Email: brucerobertson.art@gmail.com

Dimensions: 13.5 x 9.5
Artist's Statement about this work: I painted this in my "Practice Sketchbook". I spent the day in the Museo d' Orsay not only looking at the incredible artwork, but watching people as they viewed the art. Some people seemed more interested in documenting for social media that they had seen a famous work of art, quickly taking a selfie in front of it and not really even looking at it before moving on to the next famous piece. Generally, these people just walked past other beautiful, though lesser known, works of art. Others, like this woman, spent long spans of time carefully contemplating each work in front of them.

Bruce Robertson

Email: brucerobertson.art@gmail.com

Dimensions: 13.5 x 9.25
Artist's Statement about this work: I painted this in my "Practice Sketchbook" as I tried to explore different ways of painting. This was painted from an image I took while people watching in Florence, Italy. People watching is one of my favorite past times. In this instance it was interesting to note that there was absolutely no one that seemed to be interacting with each other due to the mass of people, and everyone needing to focus on moving through the crowd.

Artist's Statement about this work: As I was wandering on a quaint street of a village in The Netherlands, I saw this wonderful vintage Volvo. I loved the way the car and chrome reflected life as it occurred in the village. I couldn't resist sitting in the street to get the right shot with my camera. I interpreted the resulting photo into a watercolor painting, using the vibrant colors of the village. I hope viewers enjoy the result.
