"Dry Creek No More"
Günther Haidenthaller
Email: vonhaiderthal@gmail.com
Dimensions: 10.25 x 13.5 Artist's Statement about this work: I painted this piece from a photo I had taken a few years ago during a very wet, stormy spring. The rain clouds and the constantly shifting sunshine made for the most incredible lighting and I took a lot of photos that day. Dry Creek is a "part-time" drainage into the town of Alpine, from the upper snowfields of Lone Peak, Pfeifferhorn, White Baldy, and Box Elder Peak. It fairly rages during spring runoff, and when all the snow is gone, it earns its name. Sale Price: $450.00

Mountain in Idaho
Mariko Kowalski
Email: marikokowalski@gmail.com
Dimensions: 12 x 16 Artist's Statement about this work: Occasionally, individuals encounter a landscape that awakens and stirs something within them.
As I breathed in the crisp, Idaho air that day, I committed this landscape to my memory: the parallel of the river and road, the sloping of the mountains -- somehow harmoniously perfected in form. The various curves throughout the scene were effortless yet intentional, quietly asking to be noticed. Unconcerned and untouched by time, the landscape continues to do what it does best: purely existing.
